SPP Mingle - September

For the September Mingle over at ScorPalPals we needed to make a Center Step Card.  I have some older Stampin' Up 6X6 paper packs that I thought I'd try to make something with.  So, I picked this Regal Rose paper, then turned to my Color Coach to try and figure out what other papers to put with it.  This is what I came up with...

Supplies: Everything is Stampin' Up; Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Sahara Sand, Regal Rose, DSP (Pattern Pack II); Punch: 1/2" Cirlce, 1" Circle, Lace Ribbon, 1 1/4" Scallop Circle; Framelits: Floral Frames; Stamps: A Round Array, Daydream Medallions; Rhinestones; Ribbon; Button

SPP Mingle - March

This month the ScorPalPals mingle is the Buckle Card.  I haven't made one of these in such a long time.  What I like about the card is you can easily adjust the size of the buckle.  I most definitely needed a smaller one on this card as I made my image too big.  I knew I needed to make this exchange card, but I also wanted to play along with a couple of challenges.  I used green (The Outlaws Monday Greetings Challenge) and Spring (The Magnolia-licious Blog).

I made this card for the following Challenges:
Outlawz Challenge - Monday Greeting Card - Green GCC0311
ScorPalPals - March Mingle - Buckle Card
Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog - Spring

Supplies: Paper: SU (Wild Wasabi, So Saffron), DWCV; Stickles: Cotton Candy; Embossing Powder: Ranger (Seafoam White); Embossing Folder: PC (Birds and Swirls); Stamps: SU (For Everything), Tilda (Tilda with Spring Bundle); Ink: SU (Wild Wasabi); Nestabilities: Big Scallop Oval SM & Big Scallop Oval LG; Misc: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape

Green and Bling

I've been super lucky this past week to have some time to make a few cards and play along with a few challenges.  This card I'm using for a swap that I signed up for in the month of March. We had to make a card that was either St. Patrick's or green.  I chose to go with green as I don't really have anything that is St. Patrick's.  Then the Monday challenge over at Outlawz needed to have bling on it.  I had intended to use alot of bling, but it just didn't seem to look right.  I am however, very happy with how this card turned out and I sure hope the recipient will like it.

I made this card for the following Challenge:
Outlawz Challenge - Monday Greeting Card - Bring on the Bling GC0225

Supplies: Paper: SU (Wild Wasabi & Pink Pirouette); Ink: SU (Wild Wasabi); Stickles: Cotton Candy; Rhinestones: Recollections; Pearls: Kaiser Craft; Stamp: Studio G; Tilda: Happy Easter Tilda; Flowers: Prima; Embossing Folder: PC (Seeing Spots & Bloom Dots); Ribbon: Unknown; Misc: Scor-Pal

SPP February Mingle - Z-Fold

This month for the ScorPalPals Mingle, we had to make a Z-Fold card.  I have always wanted to make a Z-Fold card using Nestabilities to cut out a shape.  So, this was my chance to give it a try.

SPP September Mingle

This month for the ScorPalPals September Mingle we had to make an Accordion card.  This isn't a card that I make very often, but it was fun to make it this month.  I have been trying to get my table cleaned up a bit and came across some scraps that I love and decided to put them to good use.  I am really pleased with how this card turned out.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Unknown; Ink: TH (Walnut Stain); Embossing Folder: SU (Elegant Bouquet); Rhinestones: Hero Arts; Liquid Pearls: Ranger (White Opal); Die: TH (Tattered Florals); Punch: SU (Scallop  Edge) & MS (Laurel Leaf); Stamps: Studio G & Verses Rubber Stamps; Misc: Ribbon, Scor-Pal

SPP July Mingle

This month for the ScorPalPals Mingle we had to make a Diamond Fold Card.  This card is fun and easy to make and it's kind of fun to look at.  For this card I picked some paper that was a bit out of my comfort zone and I struggled to get started.  In the end, I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out.

Supplies: Paper: DCWV & K&Company (Sweet Nectar); Stamp: SU (Bring On the Cake); Stickles: Yellow & Thistle; Rhinestones: Kaiser & Hero Arts; Punch: SU (Scallop and Eyelet Lace); Ink: TH (Peeled Paint); Embossing Powder: Ranger (Seafoam White)

SPP Mingle - May

This month for the ScorPalPal mingle we had to make a card that was a Summer theme.  I recently picked up this super cute CC Design stamp and thought it would be perfect.  The hardest part was finding some great paper that would work with the stamp.  The other challenge with the mingle was the card needs to be a fun fold.  So, I went with the Double Display card, I hadn't made one of these in a while.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & DCWV (Summer Stack); Stampe: The Little Paper Shop (Sentiments); Cricut: Walk in my Garden; Ink: TH (Wild Honey & Black Soot); Distress Stickles: Antique Bronze; CC Designs: Sunflower Lula; Misc: Glossy Accents; Scor-Pal & Scor-Tape

SPP March Mingle

The ScorPalPals March Mingle was to make a thank you card.  The only other instructions was that it needed to be a fun fold card, not your everyday folded in half card.  So, I decided to try out the Double Z-Fold.  Well, I've concluded that the double z-fold is just like the double gate fold.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & DCWV (The Green Stack); Nesties: Beaded Circles; Stamps: SU (Lovely Labels & Note of Thanks); Punch: SU (1 3/4" Circle. 1 1/4' Circle. 1 3/8" Circle); Misc: Scor-Pal

SPP January Mingle

This month for the ScorPalPals January Mingle we had to make a Center Fold Card.  I must that this is probably one of my favorite card types.  For this card I altered it to be 5.5"X5.5".  It's pretty easy to change the dimensions of this card.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & DCWV (Linen Closet); CC Designs (Kiki La Rue Spring); Stamps: SU (??); Punch: SU (Scallop Circle, 1" Circle) & MS (Double Loop); Pearls: Kaiser; Ribbon: Celebrate It (Basic Narrow (Coloured with R81)) & Unknown;
