Christmas on the 25th - May

I am continuing on my quest to make a Christmas card every month.  This month I decided to make a card that goes along with the ScorPalPals May challenge.  This month's challenge is the Six Fold card.  This card is really fun and makes an interesting card for some one to receive.  I used some Recollections Christmas paper and this card came together really easily.

Supplies: Paper: SU (Baja Breeze) & Recollections (Jingle Bells); Stickles: Star Dust; Punch: MS (Snowflake Trim, Snowflake, Apsen); Cricut: JOTS; Ink: TH (Black Soot) & SU (Baja Breeze); Ribbon: Celebrate It (Holiday) & Unknown; Stamp: Recollection & Hero Arts; Misc: Scor-Pal

SPP Mingle - May

This month for the ScorPalPal mingle we had to make a card that was a Summer theme.  I recently picked up this super cute CC Design stamp and thought it would be perfect.  The hardest part was finding some great paper that would work with the stamp.  The other challenge with the mingle was the card needs to be a fun fold.  So, I went with the Double Display card, I hadn't made one of these in a while.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & DCWV (Summer Stack); Stampe: The Little Paper Shop (Sentiments); Cricut: Walk in my Garden; Ink: TH (Wild Honey & Black Soot); Distress Stickles: Antique Bronze; CC Designs: Sunflower Lula; Misc: Glossy Accents; Scor-Pal & Scor-Tape

I recently made a Rocking card and I thought it was just a super fun card.  So, I thought I'd make another one for a party that my daughter was going to.  I really had fun making this card.  I've had the paper in my stash for quite some time and was inspired to use it.

(Hampton); Ink: SU (Pink Pirouette) & TH (Black Soot); Stamps: CTMH (Tiny Typewritter) & SU (Bring on the Cake) & Stamping Bella (Charotte Ketto); Stickles: Orange Peel; Ribbon: Dashes & Dots & Checks; Nestabilities: Standard Circles Small; Misc: Curvy Cutter & Rhinestones

Quad Easel Card - Mother's Day

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine challenged me to try making a Quad Easel card, I think she momentarily forgot that life is really busy right now.  However, the timing was a bit perfect as I still needed to make a Mother's Day card for my mom.

This is the tutorial I originally used, it's from JenniferD's.  Only problem is it's in centimeters, so I  worked the dimensions to work for me.  My card is 5.5X5.5 and the easels are 2.5.  Here is a link to directions with inches (I didn't use this link)

Supplies: Paper: SU (Marina Mist, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette and DSP Beau Chateau); Punch: MS (Branch) & SU (Tag); Ink: SU (Marina Mist & Pink Pirouette); Embossing Folder: SU (Vintage Wallpaper); Stamp: Hero Arts (Happy Mom's) & SU (Tiny Tag?); Pearls: Recollections; Misc: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape

Over at ScorPalPals this month the card challenge is to make a Six-Fold card.  It's a pretty fun card fold to make and it doesn't take long.  I made this one for my parent's anniversary...it's only about a week late getting to them...whoops.

Supplies: Paper: Bo Bunny (Crazy Love) & Bazzill; Ribbon; Offray; Nestabilities: Beaded Circle, Standard Circle Small & Classic Hearts; Punch: SU (Modern Label & 13/4 Circle) & MS (Sweet Hears); Stamp: SU (Whimsical Words?); Ink: SU (Chocolate Chip); Misc: Rhinestones, Scor-Pal
