3 Stair Card - Anniversary

It was my inlaws anniversary last week and I didn't get a card made in time.  We are planning to see them tomorrow so I thought I'd make a card.

I recently saw the 3 Step card at the ScorPalPals group.  The lady who was made it was kind enough to send me the directions on how to make this card.  But, I did do some internet searching to find a tutorial, there aren't very many out there.  Here's the one I used.

I made this card for the following Challenge:
Outlawz Challenge - Monday Greeting Card - Express Your Spirtuality GCC0325

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Bazzill (Grandma's Feather Bed); Ink: SU (Wild Wasabi, Rose Red, Perfect Plum) & TH (Mustard Seed); Stickles: Pink & Grape; Stamps: SU (Mixed Bunches & Itty Bitty Bits) & Studio G; Sizzix (Flourish #9); Punch: SU (Blossom); Rhinestones: SU;

Christmas on the 25th - March

It's that time of month for when I'm on a mission to complete a Christmas card.  Only problem is this month I am away from home.  So, I rummaged around before I left and grabbed a Card Swap kit that I had received some time ago.  I think this Edwin image is so much fun.  I've also been trying to really pay attention to the light and shadows of my colouring.  So far, these are the best pants I've done.  I was also inspired to make an Upright Z-Fold Card from a card I recently received in a monthly mingle, what a fun card to make!!!

Supplies: Most Supplies for this card came from a Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group Card Swap;
Paper: American Craft, Embossing Folder: PC (Baby's Breath); Ink: TH (Vintage Photo)

Spring Card with Tilda

I joined the Magnolia-licious April Mingle and the theme this month is April Showers or the color Yellow.  It's funny how you start with an idea and the final product is nothing like it.  I am so pleased with how this turned out.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & DCWV; Stamps: SU (Think Happy Thoughts) & Tilda with Umbrella; Punch: SU (Modern Label, 1 1/4" Circle); Lace: Offray; Ink: TH (Vintage Photo); Stickles: Diamond; Framelits: SU (Labels Collection); Embossing Folder: SU (Elegant Bouquet); Misc: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape

3X3 Card Box

I've been trying to come up with a new challenge idea for the ScorPalPals groups and I always seem to use cards as the challenge focus.  So, for this month I decided to change it up a bit and make a box.  The challenge will be to make any type of box.  With this in mind I decided to make a box that will fit 3X3 cards.

I made the envelops using the Scor-Envi.  Pretty easy with that tool.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Bazzill (Grandma's Feather Bed); Embossing Folder: PC (Baby's Breath); Punch: SU (Scallop Circle, 1 1/4" Circle; Scallop Trim); Ink: TH (Aged Mahogany)

Box Gift Card Holder

This weekend is the last weekend of my kids ski club.  I wanted to give the two ski instructors a little something to say thank you.  So, my natural choice is a gift card.  I also knew that they probably won't card about the packaging of that gift card, but I wanted to try making a little box for the gift card.  This one was pretty simple and straight forward.

I'm having trouble finding the tutorial that I used for this one...whoops.

Supplies: Paper: Bo Bunny & Recollections; Cricut: Calligraphy (??); Ink: TH (Vintage Photo); Misc: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape

Spring Basket

Woohoo...Spring is just around the corner...tomorrow in fact!!!  I just wish that it meant that the snow what going to melt and the grass was going to be green.  But alas, our weather forecast has snow in it for this week.  Oh's getting closer.

So many of the challenges the past few weeks have centered around Spring and I think that's great...I love the colours that Spring brings.  Here's a little Easter basket.  Of course I saw this super cute basket on Pinterest.  But it didn't have the instructions, so I had to do a bit more web surfer and found the original blog post.

SPP Mingle - March

This month the ScorPalPals mingle is the Buckle Card.  I haven't made one of these in such a long time.  What I like about the card is you can easily adjust the size of the buckle.  I most definitely needed a smaller one on this card as I made my image too big.  I knew I needed to make this exchange card, but I also wanted to play along with a couple of challenges.  I used green (The Outlaws Monday Greetings Challenge) and Spring (The Magnolia-licious Blog).

I made this card for the following Challenges:
Outlawz Challenge - Monday Greeting Card - Green GCC0311
ScorPalPals - March Mingle - Buckle Card
Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog - Spring

Supplies: Paper: SU (Wild Wasabi, So Saffron), DWCV; Stickles: Cotton Candy; Embossing Powder: Ranger (Seafoam White); Embossing Folder: PC (Birds and Swirls); Stamps: SU (For Everything), Tilda (Tilda with Spring Bundle); Ink: SU (Wild Wasabi); Nestabilities: Big Scallop Oval SM & Big Scallop Oval LG; Misc: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape

Gift Card Holder - Thank You Card

Today was my daughter's last tap class for the session.  As always, I left making my thank you card to the last minute.  This gift card holder is pretty quick and simple.  (I can't find the directions for it though).  Since I was making a card, I decided to make it for the Twisted Thursday Challenge over at The Outlawz.  This week's challenge is a Bingo challenge.  I went with Die Cuts, Designer Paper and Distress Ink.

Paper is 4.25" X 11" scored at 3", 5.5", 8. Tape the middle section together and slice a hole in the top.

I made this card for the following Challenges:

Sports Card - Easel

This week over at The Outlaws the Twisted Thursday the challenge is to make a Sports Card.  This really stumped me all week.  I wanted to make a card that I could actually use, but I only could think of some golf paper in my stash.  And I wasn't interested in making that.  Then I remember that I had this CC Designs stamp, so I thought I could come up with something.  Of course, now that I'm putting this post together I'm remember the few other "sports" items that I have...oh well.

I made this card for the following Challenges:
Outlawz Challenge - Twisted Thursday - Sports Card TT022813

SU Club - March

This month I was so excited when Kathy asked up if we could move our Stampin' Up club to this weekend instead of next weekend.  That meant I could actually be there.  Once again she came with such cute card ideas!!!

This card is a tri-fold.  12X12" scored at 3" and 6"

One of the "hot" trends right now is the Chalkboard Technique.  It's pretty fun.

Supplies: All Stampin' Up
