Father's Day Card for Hubby

Father's day is sneaking up on me...it's only a couple days away and I am once again struggling to come up with some fun to make for my hubby.  After lots of wasted time I ended up looking at Splitcoaststampers for an idea.  On the front page of the tutorial section they have a Lever Card.  Since I've never made this card, I decided that it would be a great card for my hubby.

This is the third birthday card I've made this week for my daughter...she has been invited to so many birthday party's this month.  I was worried I wouldn't have enough time to make a card for this party, but I managed to squeeze one more card in.

Cascade Birthday Card

This month over at ScorPalPals, the challenge is the Cascade card.  This is really a fun card and other that taking forever for me to decorate, it's easy to make.

3 Step Card and Birthday Celebration

The challenge this month over at ScorPalPals is to create a 3 Step Card.  So, far I've seen two versions of this card and after making this card I've tried both versions.  I think the card is just another way to be extra special.  I found both card ways of making the card a bit time consuming, but once you figure it out the first time it should go pretty fast the next time.  The directions for this card can be found here.  I also wanted to participate in the Color Me Creative's 3 Birthday Party and the theme was Celebrate.

The Colour Red and Some Cake

I saw this image a few months back and I just had to have it.  I think it's such a fun stamp.  But who knew that I would think it was a bit hard to colour.  I think my problem was the fun paper I wanted to use for the card and then wanting to use the colour red for the Color Me Creative challenge.

Christmas on the 25th - March

It's that time of month for when I'm on a mission to complete a Christmas card.  Only problem is this month I am away from home.  So, I rummaged around before I left and grabbed a Card Swap kit that I had received some time ago.  I think this Edwin image is so much fun.  I've also been trying to really pay attention to the light and shadows of my colouring.  So far, these are the best pants I've done.  I was also inspired to make an Upright Z-Fold Card from a card I recently received in a monthly mingle, what a fun card to make!!!

Spring Card with Tilda

I joined the Magnolia-licious April Mingle and the theme this month is April Showers or the color Yellow.  It's funny how you start with an idea and the final product is nothing like it.  I am so pleased with how this turned out.

Spring Basket

Woohoo...Spring is just around the corner...tomorrow in fact!!!  I just wish that it meant that the snow what going to melt and the grass was going to be green.  But alas, our weather forecast has snow in it for this week.  Oh well...it's getting closer.  

So many of the challenges the past few weeks have centered around Spring and I think that's great...I love the colours that Spring brings.  Here's a little Easter basket.  Of course I saw this super cute basket on Pinterest.  But it didn't have the instructions, so I had to do a bit more web surfer and found the original blog post.
