A Touch Up

I made this layout quite a long time ago, but I always felt like it was missing something.  I knew that I still needed to add the weight and length to it, but I just didn't love the end layout.  So, when I was adding the missing stuff I decided to try adding some black pen markings.  I think it really helped finish up the look of the layout.

Z-Fold Baby Card

I was recently surfing the internet and came across a great Z-Fold card...but of course I forgot to bookmark it.  It inspired me to make a Z-Fold card, as it's been a really long time since I've made one.  I also loved this paper.  I had some left over from a scrapbook page and really wanted to use it up on something fun.

4th Month

I just love this paper!!!  It's from Little Yellow Bicycle.  The story behind this layout is a tad bit funny.  I had originally completed Elsa's 4th Month layout a really, really long time ago.  But, I had labelled it incorrectly as her 3rd month.  So, I set out to peel off the 3 and put on a 4.  Well, as I was getting started I decided that I didn't really love the original layout...so I peeled off the pictures and started over.  I had recently picked up this paper from my LSS and decided it was the better fit.  You can't tell from the photos but I cut out each little square to make the quilt strip.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Little Yellow Bicycle (Tiny Princess); Ink: SU (Regal Rose); Stickles: Grape & Diamond; Cricut: Hello Kitty; Stamps: CTMH (Tiny Typewritter Alphabet); Framelits: SU (Labels Collection); Other: Glossy Accents

Christmas Card on the 25th

I use to be involved with a group that would do a card every 25th day of the month.  I'm not really sure what happened to that group...it just stopped.  So, I decided that I better try to do that on my own or I'm going to be short some cards when Christmas rolls around.  For this card, I wanted to try something different using my Scor-Pal.  I usually always use a template that I've found on the internet, but for this one I just let my Scor-Pal show me the way.  I hope you can see what I did.

First Christmas Layout

I had started to make this scrapbook page way back in October while at was at the scrapbooking retreat.  Back then I was able to complete the left side of the 2 page spread, but I lacked inspiration for the right side and probably ran out of time.  So, I finally decided to tackle this second page.  In the end they are really two different ideas using the same paper.  I am so pleased with how the left page turned out.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill, Vellum & Bella Road (Everybody Loves Christmas); Cricut: Plantin Schoolbook & JOTS; Stickles: Crystal; Embossing Folder: TH (Woodgrain); Ribbon: American Craft; Punch: MS (Doily Lace) & SU (Scallop Trim); Embossing Powder: Ranger (Holographic); Stamp: Hero Arts

Reverse Grid Card

The challenge over at ScorPalPals this month is the Grid or Reverse Grid Technique.  I think it's a great look and should be pretty easy to achieve...I however, don't get the stamping to look as great as some people do.

Supplies: Paper: SU (Chocolate Chip & Ivory); Stamps: SU (Four Frames & Asian Astistry); Ink: SU (Chocolate Chip); Markers: SU (Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi, Baja Breeze, Marina Mist & Pretty in Pink); Punch: SU (Blossom Bouquet , Decorative Label); Embossing Folder: SU (Perfect Polka dots & Square Lattice); Other: SU (Pearls) & Scor-Pal

First Scrapbook Page of 2012

It has been a really long time since I did a scrapbook page.  In fact, the last page I started was back in October at the retreat I was at, and I haven't finished that page yet.  One of my friends challenged our group to do a scrapbook page using a sketch.  I finally made time to take a look at the sketch the other day...and I'm so glad I did.  Here is what I came up with.

Supplies: Paper: SU (Rose Red, So Saffron & Garden Green) & K&Company (Terri Conrad Sweet Life); Cricut: Plantin Schoolbook & George and Basic Shapes; Punch: SU (Scallop Trim) & MS (Sweet Hearts); Stamp: CTMH (Tiny Typewritter Alphabet); Ink: SU (Rose Red) & TH (Peeled Paint & Worn Lipstick); Cuttlebug: Seeing Spots; Misc: Glossy Accents, Rhinestones, Ribbon, Buttons, Thread

SU Club - February

It was sure nice to be able to make it to "Club" this month.  I really enjoying visiting with all the members.  I especially enjoy when people bring their creations to share with the group.  Once again, Kathy had some fun cards for us to create this month.

Valentine's Tag

For the last several years I've been making a Valentine's card for the Stampin' Up group that I belong too.  I was really excited to make this tag and especially the shaker box on it.  I also found some red doily hearts at the dollar store, so I decided to use them on this project.  The word "love" was from a stencil set that I found at Michael's.
