3 Step Anniversary Card

I started this card a couple weeks ago to give to my parents for their anniversary, however I never got it done.  And for some strange reason, I didn't seem to feel the urgency to finish it.  I guess they won't be receiving it now...whoops.  Maybe they'll get this one next year.

3 Step Card and Birthday Celebration

The challenge this month over at ScorPalPals is to create a 3 Step Card.  So, far I've seen two versions of this card and after making this card I've tried both versions.  I think the card is just another way to be extra special.  I found both card ways of making the card a bit time consuming, but once you figure it out the first time it should go pretty fast the next time.  The directions for this card can be found here.  I also wanted to participate in the Color Me Creative's 3 Birthday Party and the theme was Celebrate.

I made this card for the following Challenges:
ScorPalPals - #1305 3 Step Card Challenge
Color Me Creative - Challenge #67 Celebrations - Bday13

Supplies: Paper: SU (Melon Mambo) & Recollections (All Girl); Cricut: Alphalicious: Embossing Folder: PC (Swiss Dots); Stamps: SU (Feeling Sentimental), Studio G, Cornish Heritage Farms (Thomas Kinkade Birthday), Stamping Bella (Uptown Girl Ava Loves to Celebrate); Nestabilities: Lacey Ovales; Stickles: Cotton Candy & Diamond; Punch: SU (1 3/8" Circle, Scallop Circle, Scallop Trim, Decorative Label); Misc: Rhinestones, Scor-Pal & Scor-Tape

The Colour Red and Some Cake

I saw this image a few months back and I just had to have it.  I think it's such a fun stamp.  But who knew that I would think it was a bit hard to colour.  I think my problem was the fun paper I wanted to use for the card and then wanting to use the colour red for the Color Me Creative challenge.

I made this card for the following Challenges:
Outlawz Challenge - Twisted Thursday - Card with Food - TT0411
Color Me Creative - Challenge #66 Red, Red & More Red - Red13

Supplies: Paper: SU (Riding Hood Red) & TPC (Party Hearty); Ink: SU (Riding Hood Red); Punch: MS (Daisy Dot); Ribbon: Dashes, Dots & Checks; Rhinestones: Kaiser Craft; Stamp: Stamping Bella (Uptown Girl Bianca Loves Her Big Cake) & Unknown; Stickles: Yellow & Xmas Red; Misc: Scor-Pal

Spring Card with Tilda

I joined the Magnolia-licious April Mingle and the theme this month is April Showers or the color Yellow.  It's funny how you start with an idea and the final product is nothing like it.  I am so pleased with how this turned out.

3X3 Card Box

I've been trying to come up with a new challenge idea for the ScorPalPals groups and I always seem to use cards as the challenge focus.  So, for this month I decided to change it up a bit and make a box.  The challenge will be to make any type of box.  With this in mind I decided to make a box that will fit 3X3 cards.

I made the envelops using the Scor-Envi.  Pretty easy with that tool.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Bazzill (Grandma's Feather Bed); Embossing Folder: PC (Baby's Breath); Punch: SU (Scallop Circle, 1 1/4" Circle; Scallop Trim); Ink: TH (Aged Mahogany)

Box Gift Card Holder

This weekend is the last weekend of my kids ski club.  I wanted to give the two ski instructors a little something to say thank you.  So, my natural choice is a gift card.  I also knew that they probably won't card about the packaging of that gift card, but I wanted to try making a little box for the gift card.  This one was pretty simple and straight forward.

I'm having trouble finding the tutorial that I used for this one...whoops.

Spring Basket

Woohoo...Spring is just around the corner...tomorrow in fact!!!  I just wish that it meant that the snow what going to melt and the grass was going to be green.  But alas, our weather forecast has snow in it for this week.  Oh well...it's getting closer.

So many of the challenges the past few weeks have centered around Spring and I think that's great...I love the colours that Spring brings.  Here's a little Easter basket.  Of course I saw this super cute basket on Pinterest.  But it didn't have the instructions, so I had to do a bit more web surfer and found the original blog post.

SPP Mingle - March

This month the ScorPalPals mingle is the Buckle Card.  I haven't made one of these in such a long time.  What I like about the card is you can easily adjust the size of the buckle.  I most definitely needed a smaller one on this card as I made my image too big.  I knew I needed to make this exchange card, but I also wanted to play along with a couple of challenges.  I used green (The Outlaws Monday Greetings Challenge) and Spring (The Magnolia-licious Blog).

I made this card for the following Challenges:
Outlawz Challenge - Monday Greeting Card - Green GCC0311
ScorPalPals - March Mingle - Buckle Card
Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog - Spring

Supplies: Paper: SU (Wild Wasabi, So Saffron), DWCV; Stickles: Cotton Candy; Embossing Powder: Ranger (Seafoam White); Embossing Folder: PC (Birds and Swirls); Stamps: SU (For Everything), Tilda (Tilda with Spring Bundle); Ink: SU (Wild Wasabi); Nestabilities: Big Scallop Oval SM & Big Scallop Oval LG; Misc: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape

Gift Card Holder - Thank You Card

Today was my daughter's last tap class for the session.  As always, I left making my thank you card to the last minute.  This gift card holder is pretty quick and simple.  (I can't find the directions for it though).  Since I was making a card, I decided to make it for the Twisted Thursday Challenge over at The Outlawz.  This week's challenge is a Bingo challenge.  I went with Die Cuts, Designer Paper and Distress Ink.

Paper is 4.25" X 11" scored at 3", 5.5", 8. Tape the middle section together and slice a hole in the top.
