Kids Cards

This weekend while I was making cards, my kids decided to play along with me.  There were so proud of their cards and so was I.

Birthday Card for my Sister

My sister's birthday is coming up next month and I thought I'd try and get ahead by making her card now.  Since I recently discovered the Star Card I thought I'd try that one again.  Hope she likes it.
Instructions.  I did modify this card from the original directions.  I changed my paper from 12X12 to 10X10 and made a slight adjustment to the rest.
I also saw these instructions for making the flower.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Bo Bunny (Ad Lib); Punch: SU (3/4" Circle, Mini Flower, 2 1/2" Circle, 1 3/4" Circle, Scallop Circle, Blossom, Modern Label) & MS (Double Loop); Stamp: SU (Stylize Flower, Whimsical Words); Embossing Powder: Stampendous (Detail Black); Ink: TH (Pumice Stone); Misc: Pearls, Scor-Tape, Scor-Pal

Distressed Card

I am so pleased with how this card turned out!!!  It is way better in person.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Unknown; Punch: SU (3/4" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle, 1 3/4" Circle, 2 1/2" Circle, Blossom, Modern Label) & MS (Eyelet Lace); Lace: Offray; Pearls: Recollection & Unknown; Ink: TH (Evergreen Bough & Gathered Twigs); Stamp: SU (Well Scripted & Mixed Bunch); Embossing Folder: PC (Seeing Spots)

SPP March Mingle

The ScorPalPals March Mingle was to make a thank you card.  The only other instructions was that it needed to be a fun fold card, not your everyday folded in half card.  So, I decided to try out the Double Z-Fold.  Well, I've concluded that the double z-fold is just like the double gate fold.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & DCWV (The Green Stack); Nesties: Beaded Circles; Stamps: SU (Lovely Labels & Note of Thanks); Punch: SU (1 3/4" Circle. 1 1/4' Circle. 1 3/8" Circle); Misc: Scor-Pal

Star Card - First Attempt

A few weeks ago a member of the ScorPalPals group shared her Star Card.  I absolutely love it.  And of course I had to try it.  I definitely made a couple of practice folds with some scrap paper just to get the hang of the cutting and folding.  But once you do it once it's get better to understand.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Bo Bunny (Crush Collection); Nesties: Classic Hearts; Stamps: CC Designs (Amy R Stamps: All About Love); Ribbon: Celebrate It (Basic Narrows); Embossing Powder: Stampendous (Detail Black); Ink: TH (Worn Lipstick); Punch: MS (Sweetheart Corner); Misc: Tim Holtz Distress Tool & Scor-Pal

Z-Fold Birthday Card

Over at ScorPalPals, the current challenge is to make Z-Fold cards.  I think the Z-Fold card is a fun and easy way to make a card a little bit more special.  I really like how this one turned out!

Tag Time Tuesday

I managed to get into Scrapbooker's Paradise today before the Tag Time Tuesday event was over.  Viola, once again had a great tag to everyone to do.  I just hope I can remember some of the techniques that we used on it.

SU Club - March

This month I wasn't able to make it to my Stampin' Up club group day.  They got to make such great cards this month.  I'm so thankful that the members of the group are willing to make my cards.

Double Z-Fold Birthday Card

Over at ScorPalPals, we have a challenge going on that is to make Z-Fold cards.  While I was looking for instructions for the Z-Fold card, I came across instructions for a Double Z-Fold card.  I'm not really sure that it's a z-fold, reminds me more of a double gate fold.  But, I made it anyways, I really enjoyed making this card.  My daughter picked out the Marci with Rose stamp as the card is for her friend.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Unknown Scraps; Punch: SU (Modern Label, Word Window & 1 3/4" Circle) & MS (Flower Shower); Ink: SU (Basic Black) & Memento; Stickles: Diamond; Nestabilities: Picot Edge Circles & Standard Circles Small; Stamp: SU (Teeny Tiny Wishes, Bring on the Cake & Happiest Birthday Wishes) & La La Land Craft (Marci with Rose); Misc: Scor-Pal
