SU Club - September

Today was a great first day to the Stampin' Up club season.  Kathy had some really fun cards for us.  I really like seeing the new In Colours and using them.

White Wedding Card

I have for a really long time wanted to make an all white card.  My sister asked me to make her a wedding card and I thought this would be the perfect time to try all white.  Well, I mostly used all white...I just had to put a bit of colour.  My sister told me that one of the wedding colours was purple.  I really like using the wedding DSP from Stampin' UP, although I don't remember what it's called.  I had lots of fun making this card.

25th Birthday Card

It is hard to believe that my "little" sister is now a Quarter Centruy!!!  I hope she had a wonderful birthday!!

The other day I made a Double Display card and I wanted to make another one.  This card style really reminds me of the Tri-shutter card.  It is really a nice card to make that has a "wow" factor.

Birthday Invitation - Four Flap Fold

My youngest daughter's birthday is sneaking up on me.  I've had all summer to come up with a birthday invitation for her party, but instead I've waited until nearly the last minute.  I really wanted to make her a fun birthday invitation too.  So, I looked at my birthday party and decided to use this paper.  Since she is turning three I decided I wanted to some how incorporate that in the card.  So, I did the 3 balloons, the 3 spinners and the 3 candles.  Only problem with this card was it took me so long to make one card that I ended up only making 2 invitations.  I do however have enough supplies cut out to make another 4 cards.  I guess I'll be making thank you cards with the rest.

The directions for this card I found in a book from Paper Crafts Magazine. It's called Joy of Card Making: Collector's Edition. I actually had borrowed this book from my local library.  The directions are at the bottom.

Supplies: Paper: Sassa Fraslass (Count Me In) & Unknown; Ink: TH (Aged Mahogany & Scattered Straw); Stamp: SU (Lots of Thoughts); Punch: SU (Scallop Circle & 1 3/8" Circle); Cricut: Celbrations & Sweet Treats; Distress Stickles: Spiced Marmalade & Mustard Seed; Brads: Bazzill; Copics: YR18 & R39; Misc: Scor-Pal, Thread

10th Anniversary Card for My Hubby

Lately I've been caught up in how fast time is going by.  I can't really get over that summer has come and gone and then today I was reflecting on the fact that it was my 10th Anniversary.  I truly don't know where the time goes.  I have so throughly enjoyed the last 10th years with my wonderful hubby and I can't wait to see where the next 10 years takes us.

Of course I wanted to make him a card to celebrate.  But I felt like there was a lot of pressure to make the right card.  I had seen this Double Display card on a blog that I stopped in at and it's such a fun and pretty easy card to make.  I took lots of pictures of this card...
