Special birthday card fun
I always seem to want to make something fun and special for the recipients of my cards. But I am always wanting to try something new too. So, here is what I came up with for this card. I found the tutorial here. But there are many different names for making this flower.

Remake of Apple Card
On Friday last week I took my Scrapbooker's Paradise challenge card into the store to drop off only to find out that I hadn't picked up the correct image. I had thought that the paper the lady had given me was the one to color. When I had been making the card I struggled with why they had chosen to use regular photocopy paper. Well, that is because it was just meant to be a flyer and I was suppose to go back into the store to pick up a proper image. So, I brought home a new image to color. I was going to just replace the old Teacher image, but it was too big for my card. Instead I started over and made this new card. I dropped it off at the store this afternoon. Wow...there are some awesome cards made with this challenge image.

LSS Card Challenge - September
My local scrapbook store is Scrapbooker's Paradise and they are having a card challenge. You have to color an image and make a card. I thought it would be a fun little challenge. I am very nervous to turn it in though, I know there are some amazing cards that will be done. The card has to be taken into the store by September 15, so I'm cutting it alittle close. Regardless, I'm pretty pleased with the end result of this card.

Magnolia-licious Highlites September Challenge
This month for the Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge we were asked to make a card and a suitcase or backpack. I choose to go with the suitcase. This challenge came a great time too, I needed to make a gift card holder and the suitcase works perfect for that.

My Nephew
I am so excited that my sister finally had her baby!!!! I wanted to make her a fun card. So, I used the template from Penny, she calls this card a Step Ladder.
For the envelop I used the negative cut out from the name for the card.

Double Pocket Card Challenge
It's my sister's birthday and I wanted to make her a fun card. I used the Basic Grey's Lime Rickey paper...there are some crazy patterns in there. The current challenge over at ScorPalPals is the Double Pocket Card. But instead of giving her gift cards in the pockets I just did tags. I took lots of photos...
