Birthday Explosion Box

I am so excited to be sharing this Explosion box.

Over at Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group they are celebrating their 2nd birthday.  And each week are having challenges and games.  So, week one the challenge was to create an Explosion box.  I, unfortunately ran our of time to make the box and missed the deadline.  But I really wanted to try making an explosion box so I went ahead.

I am so pleased with how the box turned out, especially for my first try.  I decided to make this a birthday gift for my mom.  I don't know if I'll be able to wait until mid-June to give it to her...lol.  For directions on making an Explosion Box go here.  I did take a few ideas from other boxes that I saw over the last while (thanks ladies).

I have lots of pictures to share, so I will start with the box closed followed by open.  Then the rest of the pictures.

SPP May Mingle

For the May Mingle over at ScorPalPals we had to make a Man card.  I really liked the man card that I made for the Creative Cuttlebuggers mingle so I worked with the same concept.  But I added some hemp twine and some white edging to the little squares.  To make the shirt you can find the directions here.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Basic Grey; Stamps: SU (Four Square) & Little Paper Show (Make a Wish); Hemp: Unknown; Cuttlebug: Diamonds in the Rough;

CCB May Mingle

It's time for another Creative Cuttlebugger Mingle.  This month we had to make a Man card.  I don't make that many "man" cards.  But had lots of fun making this one.  The instructions for the shirt can be found here on the Scor-Pal site.

Yellow Thank You

I would love to say that this was a quick thank you card.  But I'm still learning how to color the Magnolia images.  I think this Tilda is really cute.  The rest of the card was pretty straight forward to make.

SPP Pop-Out Card Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over at ScorPalPals.  We are doing a Pop-Out Card.  I'd like to thank Penny Wessenauer for the directions to this card.  You can find her directions here.

Supplies: Paper: ??; Cricut: George; Punches: Stampin' Up & Martha Stewart; Stamp: SU (Teeny Tiny Wishes) & Studio G;
The original directions for the card make a 4X4 card.  But I wanted a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 card.  Here's a picture of the adjusted template.

If you'd like a better copy of that picture just let me know.  You can leave me a comment or send me an email robin_f@telus.net

Thanks for stopping by today.
