Christmas Card for Hubby

Last year I some how neglected to make a Christmas card for my hubby.  There was no way I was going to forget this year, although I did leave to the last minute.  I also wanted to make him a Christmas card that was festive, but manly and I wanted it to be a fun fold.  Wow...expectations!!!  Here is what I came up with.

Supplies: Paper: American Craft, K & Company (Visions of Christmas), SU (Very Vanilla & Cherry Cobbler); Ink: SU (Cherry Cobbler), TH (Gathered Twigs, Black Soot); Framelits: SU (Labels); Distress Stickles: Antique Linen; Stamps: CTMH (Very Merry Christmas)

Happy Holidays Tag

My kids like to do a little Christmas present for their friends at school.  This year the little present included: a Christmas pencil with eraser, some Hershey's Kisses, a pad of paper and a candy cane.  For my youngest daughter I added these tags to her bags.

One more Simple Card

Have you ever been distracted when you were making a card?  I sure have and I must have been really in a different world when I scored this card.  I certainly didn't score it in half (at 4 1/4"), but I really didn't want to waste this piece of paper, so I added another two score lines and made this card.  I also think it's great that Stampin' Up came out with this cute Snowflake stamp that fits in the Blossom punch.

Keeping it Simple

One of the things I struggle most with when making cards, is to actually make a simple card.  I really like the way this card turned out.  The Stampin' Up Ornament Framelits sure helped to make this card.

Two Simple Christmas Cards

Yesterday I started working on getting my Christmas cards in the mail.  But, as usual I got called away from my project.  So, I'm back at it today.  I need a few extra cards to send everyone on my list a card.  Back in November I was at a Stamp A Stack and I had some left over paper, so I decided to use it up.

Quick Christmas Card

As I was getting ready to send out my Christmas cards, I noticed that I needed a few more.  I have seen several fun looking cards made with "washi" tape.  This is my attempt at a tree looking card.  I'm not sure that it really turned out all that well.

Supplies: SU (Whisper White and Old Olive); Ink: SU (Old Olive); Punch: MS (Gifts) & SU (Ticket); Brad: Making Memories

SU Club - December

This month at club we did the Christmas Card Exchange.  The card that get made doesn't need to be a Christmas card, it can be anything.  You can see my card here.  Once we got done looking at the exchange cards we made these great projects.

Club Exchange Card - Hidden Message

Every year the Stampin' Up Club that I belong to does a card exchange in the month of December.  For this year's card I want to make something new and something girly.  So, after spending a ton of time on the internet looking at different card tutorials, I finally decided to do a Hidden Message card.  You can find the tutorial I used here.
