All About Boys

The new challenge over at the Magnolia-licious blog is called All About Boys.  What a perfect challenge for me, as I just got a new mini Edwin that I really wanted to use on something.  I think this Edwin is so cute...I might have to order the larger one too.  I kept the card pretty simple.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & Bo Bunny (Blast Off); Nestabilities: Star Circles & Standard Circles Small; Stamps: CTMH (Tiny Typewritter Alphabet) & Studio G; Edwin: Mini Cool Edwin; Ink: TH (Chipped Sapphire); Edgelits: SU (Finishing Touches); Punch: MS (Stars); Misc: Scor-Pal

Green and Bling

I've been super lucky this past week to have some time to make a few cards and play along with a few challenges.  This card I'm using for a swap that I signed up for in the month of March. We had to make a card that was either St. Patrick's or green.  I chose to go with green as I don't really have anything that is St. Patrick's.  Then the Monday challenge over at Outlawz needed to have bling on it.  I had intended to use alot of bling, but it just didn't seem to look right.  I am however, very happy with how this card turned out and I sure hope the recipient will like it.

I made this card for the following Challenge:
Outlawz Challenge - Monday Greeting Card - Bring on the Bling GC0225

Supplies: Paper: SU (Wild Wasabi & Pink Pirouette); Ink: SU (Wild Wasabi); Stickles: Cotton Candy; Rhinestones: Recollections; Pearls: Kaiser Craft; Stamp: Studio G; Tilda: Happy Easter Tilda; Flowers: Prima; Embossing Folder: PC (Seeing Spots & Bloom Dots); Ribbon: Unknown; Misc: Scor-Pal

Never Ending - Baby Card

As you know I'm a bit addicted to Pinterest, although I haven't visited there as much the last few weeks, and I'm always looking for new inspiration.  Earlier this week I came across this video from Stampin' Up.  The presenter called this card a Fabulous fold, but it's really a Never Ending Card.  The thing I liked about this card so much was that it wasn't a square card, it's a 4.25 X 5.5 sized card.

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill & K&Company (Itsy Bitsy); Punch: SU (Scallop Oval); Ink: SU (Basic Gray) & TH (Victorian Velvet); Nestabilities: Classic Hearts; Cricut: New arrival; Stamp: Studio G; Stickles: Crystal & Cotton Candy; Misc: Scor-Pal, Vellum Words Stickers (Cloud 9 Designs)

All About Red Birthdays

My daughter recently got invited to a birthday party for her friends that are twins.  Unfortunately, we are busy and she can't go.  But I thought it would be nice to give them cards.  Since the twins are one girl and one boy, I thought I'd make a more boy like card.  I hope this counts...

Magnolia-licious Challenge - All About Birthdays

Valentine's for Friends

Last year for Valentine's Day the kids and I made Wilton Chocolate Melt heart shaped chocolates.  So, when we started talking about what to do with this year's Valentine's they immediately wanted to do the chocolates again.  I also wanted them to still be able to put their names on them, so I told them they needed to come up with some sort of idea.  My son wasn't so interested in this activity, but once we figured out something for him to make he was onboard.  Then both the girls liked what he did so they copied.  My one daughter did take hers a bit further.  I love the creativity they all showed.

Supplies: Papers: Recollection and K & Company; Stamps : SU (Priceless); Punch: SU & MS

Valentine Easel

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I wanted to send a few cards out to some friends just to let them know I was thinking about them.  I also wanted to use this cute digi stamp I go from Bugaboo Stamps.  The other requirement I gave myself was it needed to fit in an envelope that was 3.5" X 6" and it had to be fun.  So, I went with a modified Easel Card.  My card is 3" X 4", it's really a cute size.  I also wanted to work on my colouring and trying to get the shadows.  It's slowing coming along.  :)

I made this card for the following Challenges:
Outlawz Challenge - Twisted Thursday - Valentine's Day TT020813

Supplies: Paper: Bazzill, SU (Melon Mambo) & K&Company (unknown); Digital Stamp: Bugaboo; Stickles: Ranger (Crystal, Cotton Candy, Magenta); Punch: MS (Loops Hearts Corner & Sweet Hearts), CM (Corner), SU (Modern Label); Ribbon: Celebrate It (Valentine); Nestabilities: Hearts; Stamps: SU (Teeny tiny Wishes & Priceless); Ink: SU (Melon Mambo); Misc: Scor-Pal

Swing Fold Birthday Card

This past weekend was my brother's 25th birthday.  As usual, I left making his card to the last minute and I made it a day late.  The only saving grace was that I didn't actually see him on his birthday...so he'll never know.  Whenever my brother sees a card I've made, he always seems to show genuine interest...so I wanted to make him a fun, but manly card.

I made this card for the following Challenges:
