Christmas All Year Long - August

It's that time of month again for the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop.  Christmas is going to sneak up before you know it.  This group was created for Magnolia lovers who want to get a jump on the Christmas season by creating a Christmas card each month. If you are visiting this blog hop, I hope it will inspire you to get ahead of the holiday season and join us in our endeavor.

The blog hop will start at Christmas All Year Long Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group. If you get lost, the list of all players will appear on that blog. From here, you will go to Nadyen's Blog.

Here is what I came up with...thanks for stopping by.

It's a bit hard to see in the pictures but I made the Folded Paper Frame card.  I got the directions here.

Folded Paper Frame Challenge

Over at the ScorPalPals group the new challenge is the Folded Paper Frame Card.  It is a fun and easy card to make.  Here are the directions.   Now it's headed in the mail.

While I was making my card my son decided that he should make a Thank You card for his grandparents.  I think it turned out pretty darn great!

SPP August Mingle

I really like how bright this card turned out.  I think I just really like using yellow.  I am making this card for my ScorPalPals August Mingle.  We had to make a thank you card.  The materials for this card are from a kit I had made for a kit swap over at the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group.

Card on the Road

For the 3 weeks this summer we spent some time camping.  While I was getting everything packed for camping I at the last minuted decided to throw in some card making supplies.  About half way through the trip I figured I'd better make one card to justify taking my stuff.  So, I spend it all out on the kitchen table and went to work.  All of the materials for this was from a kit swap that I participated in over at the Magnoli-licious Yahoo group.  The kit had so many great things in it and I have enough left over that I'll be able to make a second card.

Supplies: Magnolia-licious Kit Swap (Paper, Ribbon, Flowers, Tilda (#508 Tilda with Strawberries), Heart paper clip, rhinestones); Stamp: SU; Punch: Fiskars; Stickles;
