Valentine's for the Purple Palace

I wanted to make some Valentine cards for some very special ladies over at the Purple Palace.  And when I started this project I had just received my first Tildas.  I was so excited to make these.  There are 12 similar cards.  Here are the different Tildas.

Swing Card - Baby

I am really excited about this card.  I needed a baby card for a friend and she is a card maker so I wanted the card to be fun.  For several days I thought about what I wanted to do.  Then while I was looking I came across the Swing Card.  I knew this was the card I wanted to make.  Here are the directions that I used Swing Card .

Paper: K&Co, Stampin Up; Cricut: New Arrival; Stamps: Studio G

Elsa - Birth

I came across this beautiful Heidi Grace paper.  I loved the paper so much that I even paid full price for it.  The pictures don't really show how shiny the paper is.  The quality of the photos are much better in person.  I guess I need to figure out a better way to take pictures of my layouts.  In the CreativeCuttlebuggers group we were challenge to use our D'Vine Swirl folder.  I decided not to make a card and this is what I came up with.

Paper: Heidi Grace, Bazzill and Prima; Cuttlebug: D'Vine Swirl; Cricut: Calligraphy; Stickles: Crystal

My First Tilda Card

I am very excited to post my first ever Tilda card.  I have been so inspired by the creations I've seen made with various Tilda stamps.  On Monday I took part in the "Pretty in Pink" Blog Hop over at Magnolia-licious Highlites http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/2010/01/pretty-in-pink-blog-hop.html .  As part of the blog hop we were encouraged to participate, so I thought that would be perfect for my first Tilda Card. Thanks for stopping to look at my card.

Paper: Bazzill and K&C; Glitter: Glitter Ritz; Cricut: Designer Calendar and A Child's Year; Ribbon: American Craft; Magnolia: #326 Tilda with Hearts; Copics

CCB January Mingle

Over at the CreativeCuttlebuggers, I signed up for a Mingle.  We had to make a Valentine for a male.  But now that I look at it, it's not very masculine.  Oh well.

Paper: SU; Cricut: George; Cuttlebug: Heart Blocks

Elsa - 1st Bath

Time for Elsa's first bath.  I don't think she really enjoyed it much when I look back at these pictures.  I, however, had a ton of fun making the bubbles for this layout.  Really who doesn't like glitter!!!

Baby Joy Fold

I needed a baby card for a friend.  I've used this hippo before, but I think it's so cute.  This was also my first go with my new Nestabilities.

First Copics and Tilda Colouring

I wanted to share with you today, my very first try at colouring with Copic markers.  And of course my first Tilda.  I have watched many videos and looked at so many Tilda's that I know the learning curve is going to take me a little while.  But, for a first try I'm pretty happy.  Only problem know is I can see that Copics are another addiction.  LOL!

This is my second try

My First Tilda Order

I have recently discovered these really cute stamps by a company called Magnolia.  There are many people out there using the Tilda image and they make some amazing stuff.  I ordered 4 different stamps, but can only find a picture of Edwin to share with you.

You can check them out here http://www.magnoliastamps.us/
Now I just need to learn how to color and find some time to play with my new stamps.

Birthday Card

I had some leftover paper from a scrapbook layout and I loved the paper. So, I thought I can make a card from that. Here is a different Diamond Fold card.

Yep!!  I made a lovely Diamond Fold card and I forgot to take a picture of it before I sent it.  So, I'm hoping that I can get a picture of it from the recipient.

SPP - Diamond Fold Challenge

For the first Challenge of 2010 at ScorPalPals, I chose the Diamond Fold Challenge.  It was a great card to make once I figured out the fold.  But I just love how the card turned out.  I also went a wee bit crazy making them.

Here are some of the others I did
